Parents, before making a call to your child using this application, you must first read and acknowledge Enchant’s policy for the collection, use and disclosure of the information we collect when you place a call to your child using this app.
Information We Collect
When you place a call to your child using this app, we will collect from you information we need to make the call, such as information about the phone number or Santa Calls account associated with the device used to receive the call or call invitation.
In addition, we may obtain certain personal information:
- Photograph, video or audio file containing your child’s image or voice
- Your child’s state and city
- Device information, including the device model, identifier, carrier, operating system versions and settings of the device used to place and receive the call
- Log information, such as the time and duration of a call
If your child receives your call using the weblink (coming soon), only information about your child’s state and city is obtained.
How We Use Information
We use the information to provide you with certain features, such as the Moments feature, which enables you to watch and share recordings of video calls you placed. If you place a video call to your child using this app, the call may be recorded and screenshots may be taken throughout the duration of the call. These screenshots and recordings are stored locally on your phone, but may be viewed on and shared using the app. We may share your personal information with our affiliates and business partners, and with our service providers.
Providing Parental Consent
Your purchase of a call credits package will manifest your consent to these information collection practices. You may refuse to permit your child’s participation in the website or app by not using this app to place a call to your child.
